Set file to open faster

By default if there are open reports and windows within your QuickBooks Desktop file when it is closed, QuickBooks Desktop will attempt to re-run those reports when you open the file. We can change that setting to allow the file to open faster.

Select Edit>Preferences 

Select Desktop view from the list on the left and then set the desktop to "Don't save the desktop"

click the OK button to save your options.
