Using OTP - One-Time Password R360 Cloud Hosted Server

2 min. readlast update: 10.22.2024

Due to the multi-day issues with WatchGuard Push Notifications for WG AuthPoint. We have enabled WatchGuard AuthPoint to use OTP - One-Time Password. Below you will see how this works.

  • **PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU DO NOT NEED TO AUTHENTICATE ON OUR WEBSITE ANYMORE TO LOG INTO YOUR SERVER.
  • First, Make sure you have your WatchGuard AuthPoint App open  on your mobile device with your rotating token number appearing. See screenshot below for app icon to locate on your mobile device.

  • Next, locate your server shortcut and Log into R360 Cloud Server as normal by double clicking a similar shortcut as you see below.

  • When the WatchGuard AuthPoint One-Time Passcode Appears in your Remote Desktop Session, you will see on the screen where the blank prompt displays wanting you to enter the One-Time Password.

  • Back on the WG AuthPoint App on your phone as showed in the first image, enter the 6-digit passcode into the blank field. Then click enter.

Once you have completed the steps above, you should have successfully authenticated on the server and see your desktop with your applications ready to use. If you have any issues using One-Time Password, please visit our live chat - https://r360.com/chat and a tech can assist.
